Continuing the vigorious research required to maintain the high-quality level of this blog as it relates to Lee Marvin: Point Blank, your humble host as scoured the archives to seek ut and acquire only the finest related material. This time around, another entry of the men’s magazine spotlight on Marvin is provided below. The periodical is a long defunct publication called Tiger, which calls itself, “The Book-Magazine for real men.” Published out of Skokie, Illinois, this Summer of 1968 issue boasted such pertient articles as “Sex Among the Hippies,” “Is Sexual Intercourse Obsolete?” and “How to Choose a Mistress.” In between is of course several scantily clad pictorials and, for our purposes, the following article culled from other sources, which includes a lot of misinformation along the way (“Gray-haired old geezer”???). In the plus column, though, are some great pix, such as Marvin clearly drunk with Ship Of Fools co-star Simone Signoret at some social event, and another with Dirty Dozen co-star, Jim Brown. Enjoy!
