$200 FOR MINT COLLECTIBLE LEE MARVIN ACTION FIGURE

I haven’t tried this before so bear with me. Having long ago completed my biography Lee Marvin Point Blank, I decided to sell off much of my Lee Marvin ephemera, as it has certainly served its purpose. Besides, it may be better appreciated by other fans out there looking for such intriguing oddities. Chief among my treasures is a Lee Marvin action figure that came out in 2001 by a company out of Hong Kong named Dragon. I paid good money for this ‘collectible,’ and kept it in mint condition, despite the fact that the urge to take it out of its blister pack asylum was almost overwhelming.
I have seen some other similar collectible action figures, but the likeness to Marvin in this one is pretty impressive. The same company did one on Charles Bronson from the same film and the result is just plain hideous. Even more impressive then the likeness to Marvin are the detailed accessories, such as all the weaponry, uniform, even the small details, like the grease-gun magazines taped together as Marvin had it in the film. Yeah, the links to Marvin as Major John Reisman in The Dirty Dozen is just that cool!
By the way, the company intended it to be collectible by only putting out a limited number of 2,000, of which this particular version is number 1,300. If you can’t read it in the photos below, the I.D. card in the blister pack states: “This cyber hubby exclusive figure is being offered in gratitude to our faithful fans. Thank you for your continued support in Dragon Models and Cyber-Hobby.com!”
So, having said al that, any interested parties should contact me here on the blog. Simply click the date at the top of the page to bring up the ‘Leave a Reply’ link at the bottom of the page. I’ll respond privately without the message going public with any answers to your questions, interests or concerns. I’m asking $200, waaaaay below the collector’s prices I’ve seen on Ebay and elsewhere. However, I’ll also gladly entertain any counter offer, as well. As I said, it’s in mint condition, blister packaging has never been opened, and is loaded with great accessories. I’ve also decided to add some hard-to-find, collectible freebies (for the $200 offer ONLY) which can be seen after the pix of the action figure: Dirty Dozen comic book, MAD Magazine Dirty Dozen parody issue.
Payment can be made though PayPal as it’s quick, easy and free via  ‘Money to Friends and Family.’ All that’s required is a credit card and an e-mail address. I’m doing it this way to avoid Ebay’s astronomical fees, lately. Oh, and free shipping anywhere in the United States!
So, after perusing the pictures below, feel free to let me know if you’re interested. If you’re a fan, you won’t be disappointed. Enjoy…..
